Originally bought with an auto transmission, it was swapped with a manual transmission and other than that, the entire engine is completely stock.
I just love how it felt to prove them wrong when I hear people telling me that the 1NZ-FE engine is weak and by turbo charging it the engine will be destroyed in a very short time.
As a frequent guest at the Sepang International Circuit, this car has been running well over 3 years with the turbo kit fitted without any problems at all.
The mechanical work was done by the owner's preferred mechanic, and once it was completed the car was immediately sent over to GT Auto to install their special tuning package which consists of:
1. Installation of the AEM water/methanol injection kit
2. ECU remapping for the Dastek Unichip Q+
Just a note, prior in sending in the car to GT Auto the owner has sold off every single piece of voltage stabilizer products he has in the car after realizing they do not contribute to a single horsepower at all.
And yes, GT Auto has finally gave in to remap the Dastek Unichip due to overwhelming requests from a lot of customers locally and overseas.
The AEM water/methanol injection kit has allowed GT Auto to squeeze a peak gain of over 60 PS and 6 kg-m of torque at the wheels!
Let me repeat, its a gain of 60 PS and 6 kg-m of torque at the wheels.
If you would like to know more about the car, you may contact the owner directly at steven@viosturbo.com or just drop me an email.
Alternatively, you could inquire GT Auto directly by sending them an email to inquiries@gt-auto.net if you prefer.

dear bro,
what a big diff in the chart ... wondering how much can the unichip gain for a turboless car like mine haha ... cant wait to land in my unichip
cheers
haiyah now only give in to unichip ><
anyway nice to see Steven joining too =D
big fat gain in torque!!
yes the mechanical parts does help, but at the end of the day its the skills of the tuner that matters.
it doesn't matter what type of ecu you uses, its how good your tuner is able to work with it.
DUDE. Do you still have my phone number?! I hope you didnt delete it. can give me a call one of these days when u free? i wanna ride in ur monster man. hehe.
hi ian! how are things with you man! well i did drop you an sms but im not sure whether you're still using that number.....
bro, i kinda follow ur ride updates frequently, and am in awe of ur enthusiasm into makin ur daily rider becum a true performance item... wish u lotsa luck man! And a humble piece of info from me, the voltage stabilizers installed are to reduce resistance as caused by the metals parts in the car, they will never improve horsepower, but they will sure help in providing a better power delivery by "sharpening" the ignition. A better accuracy in combustion, so that in hi powered rides, the rpm meter will not "dance" around. The delivery will be consistant and smoother. That's all bro, and again, all the best with ur baby monster!
thanks for the compliments bro, haha really make me shy....never expected this little silly project of mine would actually have people noticing it...
i have to disagree with your comments regarding the voltage stabilizers, basically your car's battery itself is already acting as a huge voltage stabilizer....and when the car manufacturer releases the car from the factory, there should be minimal resistance at all...
a car that is properly grounded will not need any of these devices/gadgets at all....
as for the better response and stuffs, well im sorry to said the car felt the same and i couldn't see any improvement at all after driving it for some time...this is done before and after my turbo kit was installed....
i even did before/after of dyno runs just to be sure what im claiming is true...
so it amazes me every time when i see advertisements of devices like this with a dyno chart that shows a big jump in power and stuffs...as i keep wondering why my car (and my other friends too) didn't registered any gains at all.....
Aite, then whatever i told was based on theory, i have never tried them out, so i suppose you shud've gotten better ideas after tryin them out. The only voltage stabilizers i have in my car are there to aid my audio system, never tried oullin them out, lol. And so again bro, all the best wif ur car. tc man!
Hi, I need price for Vios Turbo Kit package, and detail what i get....please reply my email...
Bro, if i see correctly, u place ur meth nozzle just b4 the throttle body right?
that's right, just right before the throttle body....
I wanted to thank you for this great read. I definitely enjoying every little bit of it I have you bookmarked to check out new stuff you post. upandcomingcars
